Use case

SEO for Hebrew and English WordPress sites

For sites in Hebrew, sites in English and teams that work in both. Here is exactly what is bilingual in GO BEST SEO today, and where a site with both languages needs care.

What works in Hebrew and in English

A team that reads in two languages

The need

The site is in Hebrew, but the person who reads the reports prefers English, or the other way round.

How GO BEST SEO helps

The app, the reports and the emails are set per user, in Hebrew or English. Hebrew screens are laid out right to left, not just translated.

Hebrew and English in the app

Content in the site’s own language

The need

Titles, descriptions, alt text and posts have to match the language of the site.

How GO BEST SEO helps

You set the site’s language to Hebrew or English, and everything we write for the site is written in that language.

Every page checked

The need

Technical problems don’t depend on the language a page is written in.

How GO BEST SEO helps

Checks such as missing titles, missing alt text, indexing and structured data apply to every page we read, whatever its language, up to your plan’s page limit.

What the SEO check covers

A good fit

  • A WordPress site in Hebrew or in English
  • A team that reads reports in a different language from the site

Not a fit yet

  • A site where pages in both languages need automatic fixes, each in its own language
  • Help with hreflang tags: we don’t check or write them

Sites with both languages: what to watch for

Today a site has one content language in GO BEST SEO. On a site with pages in both Hebrew and English:

  • Choose the language most of your pages use.
  • Automatic fixes are written in that language, also on pages in the other language. Check the Changes page and undo any fix in the wrong language, or keep automatic fixes off.
  • Post suggestions are written in the site’s language.
  • We don’t check or write hreflang tags. If a multilingual plugin manages them on your site, nothing changes there.

Hebrew and English questions

Can I read English reports for a Hebrew site?

Yes. The site’s language and your report language are separate settings. A Hebrew site can have English reports, and the other way round.

Does it handle right-to-left pages?

Yes. The scan reads Hebrew pages like any other, and everything we write for a Hebrew site is in Hebrew. The app itself is laid out right to left when you use it in Hebrew.

Can I change the site’s language later?

Yes, in Settings, at any time. What we write from then on follows the new language; earlier changes stay as they are and can still be undone.
