How it works

How automated SEO works: four steps to set up, then it runs on its own

What each step asks of you, what happens after it, and what GO BEST SEO does not do.

Four steps to set up automated SEO

  1. Create your account and add your site

Sign up with your email address, confirm it from the link we send, and choose a password, or continue with Google. During the beta you need an invitation.

Then enter your site’s address and its language, Hebrew or English. The language decides what we write for the site; the app itself can be in either language.

  2. Connect Search Console

The app shows our service address. In Search Console, open Settings, then Users and permissions, add that address as a user, and press Test connection in the app. Our access is read-only.

The property has to be for the same website you registered. That check keeps every account’s data separate, and your trial starts once it passes. New to Search Console? Read Google Search Console for beginners.

  3. Connect WordPress

In WordPress, go to Users, then Profile, and add an Application Password named GO BEST SEO. Paste it into the app with your WordPress user name. We test the connection before we save it. How to create an Application Password, step by step.

Your site needs HTTPS, WordPress 5.6 or later installed at the root of the domain, and any permalink setting except Plain. Use an Editor or Administrator account, so approved posts can be published.

  4. Make two choices

Decide whether post suggestions wait for your approval, which is the default, or publish automatically after a confirmation. Then decide whether we may apply automatic fixes to titles, descriptions and alt text.

You can change both later in Settings. From here on, it runs by itself.

What happens on every SEO scan

Pro scans your site every two days, Extra every day. Scans normally run at night, Israel time, and each site has its own hour between 1 and 6 a.m., so sites aren’t all scanned at once.

Each scan reads up to 25 pages (10 on the trial) and updates your findings: titles and meta descriptions, H1 headings, image alt text, canonical tags, structured data, robots.txt and sitemap, internal links, and whether Google can index each page. The full list of checks.

When WordPress is connected and you’ve allowed automatic fixes, the scan also applies up to 10 changes (5 on the trial). Each change is reviewed by a second AI model before it’s written and checked on your live page afterwards.

On Pro and Extra, backlink monitoring runs with your scans: Pro checks up to 30 pages for links to your site with every scan, Extra up to 50 pages every day.

Scans follow your plan’s schedule. There is no button to start one by hand.

What happens on Monday: the report and your posts

Your report is prepared early on Monday and sent on Monday morning, Israel time, to the address you signed up with and in the report language you chose. It needs a recent scan; if something holds it up, we keep trying until Wednesday. After that the week is skipped, and the app tells you why.

Monday is also a post day: Pro gets one suggestion on Monday, Extra one on Monday and one on Wednesday. Each suggestion is emailed during the day, with one link to read it and another to review and approve it. If you haven’t decided, a reminder arrives a day before it expires, and 48 hours after the email it is deleted. The next one comes on your next post day.

What GO BEST SEO doesn’t do

  • WordPress only. Shopify, Wix, Webflow and other platforms aren’t supported.
  • WordPress installed in a sub-folder (such as /blog) and sites with Plain permalinks aren’t supported.
  • No tracking of how AI assistants cite your site (GEO), no schema markup generation, no optimizing of your existing image files, no indexing requests and no local SEO work.
  • No authority scores (such as DA or DR), no competitor analysis beyond backlinks, and no Google Analytics reports. Backlink monitoring is part of Pro and Extra, not the trial.
  • One site and one user per account.
  • No scans on demand: the schedule follows your plan.
  • No prices yet: during the private beta our team assigns plans.

Ready to connect your site?

Setup takes a few minutes, and nothing on your site changes until WordPress is connected and you’ve allowed automatic fixes.
